Tracking

Track the things that change your day

Hot flashes at 2 PM, a period 5 days early, 2 hours awake at night. Each one takes a tap or two, and the app lines them up so you can see how they connect.

Track

Every tracker, with its latest value

The Track tab lists each thing you log with the last entry beside it: symptoms today, last night's sleep, your cycle day, mood, weight, water and food. Tap one to see its last 30 days.

The Track tab: Symptoms 5 logged today, Sleep 6 h 25 m last night, Cycle day 38 of your cycle, Mood good today
Track: each tracker with its latest entry.

How do I log a symptom, or fix one?

Step 1

Tap + Log

On any tab. Pick the symptom from your five, or find it under More.

The open Log menu: Again, Brain fog at 8:30 AM, then Hot flash, Period, Sleep, Mood, Brain fog and More
Step 2

Pick how strong

Mild, moderate or severe. The time is saved for you, and you can add a note.

Log a symptom: Hot flashes picked from a list with Night sweats, Brain fog, Joint pain, Cramps and PMS and Irritability, then How strong with Mild, Moderate and Severe
Step 3

Save, or fix it later

Undo shows straight away. To change an older entry, open it from Track or tap the day on the calendar.

Tracking works the same from a first period to after menopause. Only the order of the list changes with your stage.

A symptom in your own words

Not on the list? Add it under your own name and log it like any other. Pick the time of day, tap where it hurts on a body outline, and add a note.

Log a symptom: Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night, then Where? with a body outline to tap the places it hurts

Walks and a weekly goal

Log a walk with how long it took and how it felt. Steps come from Apple Health or Health Connect if you allow it, and a weekly minutes goal shows how far along you are.

Walks and steps: 4,820 steps today, 130 of 150 minutes walked in the last 7 days, and a weekly goal of 150 min

Appointments, with a countdown

Save who it is with, when, and the questions you want to ask. A reminder comes an hour, a day or a week before, and the next one shows in Track with the days left.

Next appointment: in 4 days, Checkup with Dr. Lee, Tue, Nov 3 at 10:30 AM, 2 questions to ask, reminder the day before

When life changes

If your logs look different, for example a positive pregnancy test, the app asks once whether to follow the new stage. Your history stays, and "Not now" leaves everything as it is.

Your test was positive: would you like the app to follow a pregnancy? Your history stays, with Track my pregnancy and Not now
Calendar and charts

See a month at a glance

Period days and symptoms sit on a calendar, and Insights turns them into charts and weekly averages. That is where patterns show, like a run of low days or shorter sleep on nights with night sweats.

Reminders

Reminders you choose

Set reminders for medication and supplements, an evening check-in, or any daily note you want. All of them are off until you turn them on, and quiet hours keep the night free. More on medication reminders.

  • The text on your lock screen never names a symptom, a pregnancy or your weight: "Time for your check-in", "You have a reminder".
  • You can switch any reminder off in the app or in your phone's settings.
Notifications under You: the daily check-in reminder on at 8:00 PM with Change time, news and updates on, weekly summary ready off, and quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM on
Notifications under You, each with its own switch.
Apple Health and Health Connect

Her Good Days reads your steps, sleep, weight and workouts from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, with your OK. The app asks for each one separately, and you can say no.

Questions

Can I add my own symptom?

Yes. Alongside the built-in list there is a custom symptom, with the same strength scale, time and note.

Does it read my Apple Watch?

Yes, through Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, if you allow it: steps, sleep, weight and workouts. From your Apple Watch or Wear OS watch you can log a hot flash, night sweats, water or your mood.

Will notifications say what I logged?

No. Lock-screen text is the same for everyone, for example "Time for your check-in".
