Pick a face, and that is a check-in. Add energy and stress if you want, write a few lines in the journal, or take 3 minutes to breathe. At the end of the week you see how your days went, next to your sleep and your cycle.

Her Good Days has a free mood tracker built into its Log menu: a one-tap mood check-in on five faces, plus energy and stress, as often as you like.
A private journal and guided breathing sit beside it. Every week the app shows your mood by day alongside sleep, symptoms and, if you track it, your cycle. It records patterns and does not diagnose anything.

Mood is in the top five for almost everyone.

Add energy, stress or a note only if you feel like it.

Turn on the daily check-in under You, Notifications, at the time you pick.

"Your week is ready" appears on Today once a week. It shows your mood for each day, a line on sleep and the symptoms you logged most. You can open the full week in Insights or add it to the doctor report.

For many people it does, and the tracker can show it. Mood swings are one of the most common PMS symptoms, and the NHS suggests a symptom diary over at least 2 cycles.[3] With period days logged, Insights lines your mood up against the day of your cycle, so a dip in the days before a period is easy to spot after 2 or 3 months. The same chart is useful when cycles start changing in your 40s and mood swings arrive with them.
| Stage | Where mood sits |
|---|---|
| Regular cycles | Second in the Log menu when mood is your goal, with Cramps and PMS beside it |
| After birth | First in the Log menu, with a gentle daily check-in at a time you pick |
| Perimenopause | In the top five with Hot flash, Period, Sleep and Brain fog |
| Teens | Mood, sleep and cramps stay in teen mode |
Only you. It is stored on your phone in an encrypted database, and with an account it syncs to your own devices. It never appears in notifications or in the Log menu shortcut.
Nothing happens. There is no broken streak and no nagging. The next check-in simply carries on from there.
No. It records how you felt and shows the pattern. A doctor or therapist can assess low mood, and the weekly summary is a useful thing to show them.
Yes, if you want one. It says "Time for your check-in" at the time you pick, with no mention of mood.
