What Her Good Days does with your period data
Period dates, pregnancy weeks and symptoms are some of the most personal things you can type into a phone. This is what Her Good Days does with them, in plain words, with the policy linked for every point.

Her Good Days contains no analytics code from other companies. As a guest, your logs never leave your phone.
With an account, logs sync to a separate health database kept apart from your email and from the shop. You can export them or delete your account from the app at any time.

What "usage statistics" means here
The app may only send events from a fixed list, and the server drops anything else. Saving a sleep log is counted as "a sleep log was saved". The hours you slept, your answers and anything you typed never travel with it.
How long things are kept
| Data | Kept until |
|---|---|
| Account and health logs | You delete your account |
| Usage events | 25 months after they were recorded |
| Backups | Up to 6 months, then overwritten |
| A sign-in you stop using | One year |
What the app does not ask for
No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, the app asks first and reads only what you allow.
Export or delete
You can download everything you have logged, and close your account in the app under You, then Delete account. You can also ask from the website on the delete your account page.

The full details, including the companies that host and deliver email for us, are in the privacy policy. If you wonder how an app like this pays for itself, here is the answer.
Questions
Can I use the app without an account?
Yes. As a guest, everything you log stays on your phone and never reaches our server. An account adds sync and keeps your history when you change phones.
What happens when I delete my account?
Your health logs are erased from our live database at once, together with your email and name. Encrypted backups roll over within 6 months.
Do notifications show what I logged?
No. Lock-screen text is the same for everyone, for example "Your weekly summary is ready."
